The organization feels proud to present few cases of thyroid, which were successfully treated by ITRC. As samples two to five cases in each category is presented here with the consent of the patient without disclosing their original identity, only for the interested.

Case - 1

A female aged about 48 years, with all clinical signs and symptoms of Hypo thyroidism, previously on allopathic medication stared Ayurvedic medication on 19-05-2002.The lab report shows the values as follows.
T3-107, T4-8.91, TSH- 7.67
After 2 years the values reached nearly normal

Case - 2

A girl aged about 16 years, with cystic lesions, with scanning report stared Ayurvedic medication on 11-01-2004. The lab report shows the values as follows.

After 1 year on 18-01-2005 the scanning report shows no cystic lesions found.

Case - 3

A girl aged about 18 years, with all clinical signs and symptoms of Hypo thyroidism, previously on allopathic medication stared Ayurvedic medication on 14-11-2004.The lab report shows the values as follows.
T3-26, T4-0.04, TSH- >150
After 1 year the blood values shows
T3-126, T4-5.17, TSH-6.24
On 18-02-2006, After stopping all the medications the values are as follows
T3-72.4, T4-5.57, TSH-4.98

Case - 4

A female aged about 56 years, with all clinical signs and symptoms of Hyper thyroidism, stared medication on 10-07-2000. The lab report shows the values as follows.
T3-5.96, T4-22.03, TSH- 0.06
After sixty days she started responding with all clinical improvement. Then the blood values were T3-3.59, T4-19.87, TSH-0.01.

After five months the values reached nearly normal On 06-12-2000 the blood values shows
T3-5.44, T4-13.92, TSH-0.03
After one year stopped all the medication and kept under observation.

Case - 5

A female, aged about 31 years, started medication on14-09-2003 with clinical symptoms like dry skin, headache, , mental impairment, loss of weight, Nervousness & irritability .She was under medication. The thyroid profile was
T3- >750,T4-23.0, TSH-0.2. After Ayurvedic medication, she showed clinical improvement.
On 12-11-2003 blood values showed improvement

Case - 6

A female, aged about 31 years, diagnosed as Hypothyroidism since 1997,with previous medication started treatment on 26-01-2001.the blood values were T3-0.95, T4-7.56, TSH–10.10
After six months of treatment on 07-07-2001 values shows
T3-1.10, T4-10.49, TSH-8.91
After one year without any medication blood values was normal.
On 16-02-2002; T3-1.10, T4-9.13, TSH-3.98.

Case - 7

A female aged about 65 years, at Mysore center, diagnosed as Hypothyroid started treatment. The blood report shows the values T3-0.50, T4-3.06, TSH-18.60.
After the treatment for 8-9 months she improved and all the values were normal.
On 13-08-2003 T3-1.10, T4-6.93, TSH-1.70
Even after one year without any drugs she shows no signs & symptoms.

Case - 8

A female aged about 31 years at Harohalli center, previously diagnosed as Hypothyroid started medication. Since 1997 she was suffering from Hypothyroidism and was under medication. Even advised for surgery. Before starting the treatment, Complaints were generalized edema, Facial puffiness, and varied mental status, joint pain and disturbances in menstrual cycle.
At that time i.e. on 24-04-2001 blood values were
T3-0.95, T4-7.56, TSH-10.10.
After the completion of treatment period and observation period the blood report shows normal range.
On 16-02-2002 the values are T3-1.10, T4-9.13, TSH-3.98.

Case - 9

A girl aged about 19 years at Mysore center came for the treatment. Since 2002 she was under medication for Hypo problem of the thyroid.
At the time of medication blood values were i.e. on 05-01-2003 TSH- >100
After 8 months all the values showed normal range
On 03-09-2003; T3-1.09, T4-7.60, TSH-3.25
After stopping all the medicine and the observation period the values were,
On 21-06-2005 T3-1.26, T4-7.75, TSH-4.30.

Case - 10

A female aged about 61 years at Shimoga Center noticed neck swelling since 2-4 months. When consulted the Radiologist, was diagnosed as thyroidal cyst. The first Ultrasonography, dated 18-Apr-2003 came to the impression Features Suggestive of Rt.Adenoma. The second opinion on 10-Sep-2003 confirmed multiple thyroidal Rt.Lobe cysts.
She started medication from 18-05-2003 and after 24 months the results was much normal.
The report of Ultrasonography taken on 15-Apr-2005 was both the lobes of the thyroid are normal in size and echo texture.
No evidence of cystic lesions.
No evidence of calcification.
Previously noted lesions are not made out.
